Description
Birkerød Skatepark is 2500 m2 big and located on the area between Birkerød Idrætscenter og Søndervangshallen.
There are plenty of obstacles to do grinds and airs, spins, flips, but the skatepark can get crowded at times.
Rudersdal Municipal states on their site that the skatepark is for scooters- and skateboardusers in all ages and levels. We assume at Skatein.com that rollerbladers and BMX are welcome as well.
The big concrete bowl is for more advanced skaters, but overall this is a good place for beginners to start their skating journey.
You can keep yourself up to date with the activities and the skating environment around the skatepark at the facebook group.
The development of the skatepark has been a joint-effort, made by Glifberg-Lykke, the youth community and users, and Rudersdal Municipal. It shows in the design, that the users expectations has been met. Birkerød Skatepark connects the existing facilities with the skatepark as a central element in the landscape.
