Description
Slagelse Skatepark is an old barn that now house a skatepark. The park consists of a street course, two mini verts and a large bowl. The skatepark could celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2012, hence, it has a very long history. The barn can entertain skaters of all levels whether they are beginners or experienced skaters.
The street course of the barn has everything a skater could wish for. There are ledges, banks, quarter pipes, fun boxes, pyramids, banana rails trapper and many other things. In both ends of the part, there are either banks or quarter pipes in order to ensure a good flow at the park and to provide the optimal speed. Furthermore, there are many movable elements at the park and well-placed fixed obstacles. The elements of the street course are made of wood and they are maintained often.
At the barn, you will find a large bowl with height differences in each end of the bowl. The bowl is made of wood and its design ensures that the skater gets a good flow throughout the bowl. The bowl can be used by both beginners and more experienced skaters.
The barn also has two minivers. They are made of wood and come in two different heights and provide variety for the sessions.
