About Stapelbäddsparken

At Malmø Skatepark in Stapelbäddsparken you will find everything you need for a good session and food and drinks are nearby. The park is divided into 3 different courses and it made of concrete. A giant bowl with transitions, gaps, speedbumps and much more ensures that you never run out of ideas for skate lines. A medium manual pad/stairset are with functions as the transition between the bowl and the street course. Finally, there is the street course which has rails of all kinds, bank, curbs, ledges.

History

Stapelbäddsparken was the first of many concrete parks in Malmø. The park was built in 2005 in collaboration between Byggeriet, Malmø and international partners (australians among others). It is still Byggeriet who administers and runs the park. There are various event at the park, for example Malmø Ultra Bowl. Erik Koston visited this park together with a lot of other pro skaters for an event back in 2010’s. The park is very well known among the elites and everything has a “good size”.

Inside the red line you are only allowed to skateboard and rollerblade.

No bikes are allowed at the skating course.

Rules and safety at the park

• The use of this park is at your own risk
• You have to wear a helmet and other safety equipment
• Skateboard facilities – In the red area, only skateboards and rollerblades are allowed.
• Show respect and take turns skating
• Keep a safe distance to the other riders
• Prioritise riders who are ahead
• Please throw garbage in the bins
• Graffiti and painting in general is strictly forbidden
