Description
Kolding skatepark is a fun combination of municipal town planning and skating. The park is built as a bowl that opens onto a street course. The park is made of concrete, and therefore, it resembles parks like Fælledparken or Multiparken Helsingør
At the park, there are quarter pipes and banks at each end of the park and in between, you will find hip corners, grind boxes, flat rails and practice rails. Furthermore, there are euro-gaps and ledges. This makes the park worth a visit for all Danish skaters.
Kolding Skatepark has been designed by Pivotech and built by Enr. Pivotech’s work speaks for itself – they know how to build a skatepark. They are also behind the expansion of Hørsholm Skatepark, MPH and Feldballe Skatepark.

5 reviews of Kolding Skatepark
Kolding skatepark is among my favourite parks in Denmark. It’s a relatively new skatepark which has a wonderful surface and it’s built in a good old American fashion, along and following the road. Even though the skatepark is not very big, it’s still something special, if you are crazy about ledges, quarterpipes and parks with a good flow. The flow is the most special about this park. The long and narrow park is offering endless possibilities for lines and is, therefore, fantastic for filming. The location is also extremely good, close to the walking street and the station, which gives good options to get something to eat. I would definitely recommend skater to visit the park. Here is a video with some clips from the park, which my and some friends did on a trip around the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFgQp7qIWQU
Nice skatepark, also when you have a trick scooter. You can do many fun things in the park.
Dope dope park!
It’s just lame, that the local skaters apparently don’t think to have room for BMX bikes in the park, even though it says it’s available for everyone. I have been there 1 time with some BMX riders from Vejle. And it’s not a place we want to go again because you get yelled at and generally provoked by the locals when you ride in it.
Super bad vibes in Kolding, but nice park.
Is it really true that the skatepark only is for adults and children are not allowed??
We were down there today with kids in the age of 5-6 years and the kids only made it to getting their equipment on and be riding in it for approx. 45 seconds before an adult in his late 30’s start 40’s walks to us (adult) about if we should leave soon cause they can’t ride when there are kids. I asked where he thought I should bring them, where they should be (and learn). They have to start somewhere right? the answer was just “yeah what about the sidewalk in the city” but come on, is it really true that we with children can’t use this option this 1 time we are there where our children were careful and considerate even for their age. I thought it was for public use or I’m mistaking. Should it be like that, children aren’t allowed to get to try something they like and evolve to who knows maybe they become better than the adults I say stumbling around and falling (adults!). I’m shocked and the children were sad because they understood perfectly that they weren’t welcome their….
I’ve been there a couple of times don’t go there when it’s wet. Ps. it’s not that big
