Description
Kulturfabrikken is a great example of what a skatepark should look like. The park has a lot of different levels which makes it fun if you have the courage and imagination to skate a little differently. The design of the park is very different from other parks and it is made in a way that makes it possible for both beginners and more experienced skaters to be challenged.
There are either banks or quarter pipes at both ends of the park. In addition, both ends have been designed in a way that makes it possible to jump to a rail from the quarter pipe or take a giant wall-ride at the corner.
If you are a beginner, you might feel a little overwhelmed by all the obstacles and the height of them at first sight. The park can be a little hard for beginners. However, the park is definitely worth a visit! The park is made very professionally and has implemented some ideas that makes it very unique.
You should not be scared away – the park also has some more traditional obstacles like fun boxes, flat rails and many more.
The Skatepark has some obstacles which can be moved around. Enjoy your freedom as a skater in Kulturfabrikken.

It is possible to loan skateboards. Unfortunately, loan of safety equipment and other gear is not possible at the moment.
Nykøbing Falster Skatepark houses many events throughout the year, so make sure to follow them on their social media profiles to keep up to date. Among others, they have held the ‘Pony Cup’ which is a competition for inline skaters. The competition is seen by many as the unofficial Danish championship in rollerblading. However, foreign skaters often participate in the competition and it is worth going even if you don’t skate.

My career on rollerblades started here, and in my eyes the skatehall is perfect. It can be a tough one when you start, but you quickly learn to get to know your way around the hall, when the lines are a bit predefined. The Skatehall is best for skateboards and rollerblades, but everyone is welcome!
The surface is smooth asphalt and is very pleasant to drive on. There is a bowl, jumpbox – quarter in one side and a bank in the other – with related curbcut, spine, roll-in, wallride with drop-in, 2 handrails, euro-gap, stair, transportable pyramidbox, practice box and other small practice obstacles.
The Skatehall is both easy and difficult to skate. Easy, if you are advanced or very skilled. Difficult, because the skatehall is very fixed and the creativity demands that you are experienced and very skilled. It’s also tough for beginners, because it doesn’t really have anything for beginners. You just have to put yourself out there.
– I give it 5 stars in placement (is 5-7 min. walk from the station, Rema100 is 2 min. walk from it as well), surface is smooth and solid asphalt (very good to drive on) and the quality is top… approximately 🙂
I think it’s a very cool skatepark. I love to scooter there.
