Description
Follow the road across the square in front of Trekroner station. Continue for another 500 metres. That will take you to the university lake where the bowl is located.
Roskilde Bowl has a soft shape and is inspired by the old pools that skaters have used for want of anything better. Also, because it is cool to skate swimming pools and to use things in new ways – and hey, that is what we do. You might know the shape from Fælledparken among other places.
The bowl has been made by Wonder Concrete, among others, who have great experience with concrete constructions.

2 reviews of Roskilde Bowl
The bowl is cool, but after rain, the water is standing tall at the deep end. This can last for days. It’s a construction error which hopefully will be corrected before the frost shatter the bowl into pieces.
It’s a stupid idea to go to the bowl when it’s been torn down. I was out there myself and got pissed that it was torn down and I had to drive all the way home ;-(
